What FenceQuote UK does

FenceQuote UK helps fencing contractors create quotations, calculate pricing, save quotes on their device, generate PDF quote documents and choose how to share those documents with their customers.

Information handled by the app

The app allows the user to enter and save information including:

  • company or trading details entered by the user;
  • customer names and addresses entered for quotations;
  • job measurements, pricing, extras and quote terms;
  • saved quote text and app settings; and
  • local trial or access status information.

How information is stored

Information entered into FenceQuote UK is stored locally on the user's device. Rational Design Tools Ltd does not receive or remotely store company, customer or quote information entered into the current version of the app through normal use.

PDF quotes and sharing

FenceQuote UK creates PDF quote documents locally on the user's device. The app lets the user choose to share quote text or PDF files using other applications or services on their device, such as email or messaging apps.

Sharing is initiated by the user. Once information is sent using a third-party app or service selected by the user, that third party's privacy terms apply.

Collection and sharing by us

In the current version of FenceQuote UK, Rational Design Tools Ltd does not collect or share personal information entered into the app. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Information stored in FenceQuote UK remains on the user's device unless the user removes it, clears the app's stored data or uninstalls the app, subject to any device backup services controlled by the user or their device provider.

Because Rational Design Tools Ltd does not receive or remotely store the information entered into the current version of the app, we do not hold an external copy to delete on the user's behalf.

Security

Quote and customer information is stored on the user's device. Users should protect access to their device and take care when choosing how to share quotes or PDF files.

Website

Our website is a static information page for our company and products. It does not contain a contact form and we do not use it to request personal information from visitors.
